Last Week Jabra released a new set of wireless earbuds with integrated heart rate monitoring. The Sport Pulse Wireless comes with a precision biometric in-ear heart rate monitor and the Jabra Sport Life app to ensure you always train in the correct workout zone. The earbuds use an optomechanical sensor that uses light to detect the pulse in your ear and oxygen consumption, which the firm claim have proved accurate to within 99.2% compared to a medical electrocardiogram. In addition personalized audio coaching within the app provides feedback on your workout and tells you to slow down if you exceed your limits. The Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds are expected to be available in October and are expected to cost around 300 USD.
